![]() Ludger even has skills no one else does, including the option to select from three weapon types on the fly mid-fight: blades, war hammers, and guns. I absolutely love mixing things up in battle, using different special abilities called Artes along with more typical attacks. Tales' fighting game-lite, action-oriented combat is the hallmark of the franchise, and while it seems chaotic at first, getting a hang of it is incredibly rewarding. There's considerable depth to this system, especially since it unlocks new items and conversation options.įighting through time. What remains very much the same, thankfully, is Tales of Xillia's combat, which is alive and well in the sequel. The way Ludger works his way through conversations, and who he chooses to pair-up with in battle, can build his affinity with other characters, providing a great reason to carefully navigate Xillia 2's extensive exposition while testing out new match-ups during fights. Xillia 2, on the other hand, is far more linear in its campaign's delivery, instead giving Ludger a litany of decisions to make during conversations and combat alike. The biggest turn is the deviation away from Xillia's binary campaign progression, which relied a great deal on whether you were playing primarily as Milla or Jude. For as much as Xillia 2 borrows from Xillia, it takes some smart left turns that ultimately keep the experience new, fresh, and on equal footing with the quality of the original. Her morbidly obese cat companion Rollo, on the other hand, is absolutely amazing. She's essential to the overarching plot, but I always found myself caring about the original cast more, and her subpar voice acting didn't exactly help (nor did Milla's voice actresses' still-disjointed performance, which isn't quite as bad as the original, but still noticeably worse than expert performances from the likes of Alvin's and Rowen's respective actors). Elle, on the other hand, only takes part in the story, and not in combat, which lessened my attachment to her. They’re both admittedly weaker than the main cast from the original game, and while Ludger is interesting, I have no idea why he was designed to be virtually silent. Rounding the group out is Xillia 2's main - and mostly quiet - protagonist, Ludger, and a young, mysterious little girl named Elle. Representing Rieze Maxia are most of the characters you're familiar with from Xillia: Milla, Jude, Leia, Elize, Alvin, Rowen, and others. Play Xillia 2 thrusts players back into the world of Elympios and Rieze Maxia, two territories once separated by a magical barrier that, for thousands of years, obscured them from each other.

![]() Kudos! I love you forever for this! <3 Keep up the amazing work Some things for feedback: -"Data Processing" under the vehicle sheet version is just spelled wrong. Someone just showed me your new sheet tonight and holy crap this is amazing! I'm 99% sure that I'm going to convert my game to this sheet because I am in love with it! I think for the first time ever I might actually use the character sheets in roll20 instead of just using my 2 or 3 quick macros (I've always hated the character sheets in general). It dawned on me that you don't necessarily check your reddit but I left a comment on the thread over there. Welcome to the Shadowrun 5th Edition Shadowrun 5th Edition sheet is an unofficial character sheet made for Catalyst Game Lab's Shadowrun 5th Edition. The microstructure and characteristics of the new alloy have been established and, for better performance, its surface was modified at micro- and nano-level depending on the proposed application. The alloy used in this work is one such example with Ti, Ta and Zr containing a small amount of Ag, intended to enhance the antibacterial properties. In the last years, high entropy alloys (HEAs) and medium entropy alloys (MEAs) were elaborated based on Fe, Zr, Ti and rare metals, keeping in their content elements with a very good biocompatibility. These alloys are formed with at least five principal elements in equiatomic or near-equiatomic proportions that lead to a single-phase solid solution. In looking for more performant metallic materials, a new class of multicomponent alloys (or high entropy alloys) was developed. The toxicity generated by ions that could be released from the metallic surface into the human body fibrous structures of Al and V, which are present in such approved alloys, has led, at the beginning of this century, to the promotion of binary titanium alloys with Zr, one of the most biocompatible elements of the system. The need to enhance the mechanical properties of pure titanium for various fields of applications has led to the elaboration and use of alloys such as TiAlV and TiAlNb which have been homologated and used intensively as biomaterials. Most of the metallic alloys used for implantology are based on titanium and stainless steel and used mainly in the orthopedic field due to their good mechanical properties. Starting in the middle of the last century, titanium was the most selected metallic material for many applications in various environments, including bioliquids due to its remarkable properties regarding its electrochemical stability and mechanical characteristics. Such behavior is promising in a potential bioapplication. The contact angle values of the coated samples are in the hydrophilic domain but are higher compared to the uncoated alloy values. From the FTIR determination, all the functional groups that appear demonstrated evidence of the presence of BG, ZnO and chitosan. From the SEM, the morphology of all the components from the mixture containing chitosan, bioglass and ZnO are shown to be present on the surface. The size of the ceramic particles is between 1 and 10 μm. Zeta potential measurements demonstrated evidence of a good stability of the coatings. Further analyses on the properties of the coating were performed using contact angle and roughness analysis. The mixtures and the samples obtained after applying the coating were characterized from a morphological and compositional standpoint using Scanning Electron Microscopy coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). A number of solutions with different component ratios were produced and analyzed by ζ potential and Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) to determine the most stable mixture, which was subsequently deposited on the Ti-Zr-Ta-Ag samples. ![]() To make the suspensions used for deposition, several samples were made containing Ch, BG and ZnO in various mass ratios. ![]() New formulations based on chitosan (Ch) and bioglass (BG) were designed as multifunctional coatings to be deposited from suspensions on the mentioned alloy. New coatings on Ti-Zr-Ta-Ag capable of improving the alloys’ properties and to be suitable for more applications have yet to be fabricated. The starting point of this study is a new alloy with rare metals such as Ta and Zr that has Ag in the composition, proven antibacterial properties. ![]() This equally benefited Gina, who got to experience motherhood while posing as Leni after she had suffered a miscarriage. ![]() Related: Manifest's Biggest Questions Answered & Mysteries ExplainedĪs an adult, Leni felt strained from the pressures of marriage and new motherhood and wanted to switch places with Gina in order to give them both an escape. ![]() Despite this motive, trading places more often seemed to benefit Leni, with Gina being labeled “ Bad Gina” for acts Leni committed while they were switched, such as pushing Claudia. During their childhood, Leni wanted to swap with Gina in order to protect her after seeing what happened to their mother. Still, although there are signs pointing to which twin appears at the end of Echoes, the show leaves the woman’s identity open in the Echoes Netflix series ending.Īlthough both Leni and Gina participated in switching places with each other throughout their lives, the scheme was ultimately Leni’s idea. She also tells Charlie she has unfinished business with him, which makes more sense for Gina, as his last conversation with Leni feels final. Maybe I don’t even know anymore,” which echoes a similar line that Gina says earlier in the series when she is being interrogated by Sheriff Floss (played by Karen Robinson, of Schitt's Creek). When Charlie tells her that he would figure out which twin she is, she replies, “ Maybe. The woman with Charlie is wearing clothes and makeup that are more in line with Gina’s appearance. There are also clues that Gina is with Charlie (played by Daniel Sujata, of NBC's Manifest) at the end, both visually and textually. Plus, Gina would have no reason to ask what happened to her own body. Earlier in the series, Leni is shown frequently changing her appearance, and so it makes sense for her to be the woman in the more elaborate disguise at the bookstore. While it's left unclear in the Echoes Netflix series ending which twin is with Charlie at the end of Echoes, she is most likely Gina, while Leni was the woman at the reading. The role of the probe is two-fold: it is used both as: (i) an actuator, which allows electric field application through the nanoscale contact with the sample, and (ii) a sensor, which measures the electromechanical response of the sample by monitoring the cantilever mechanical motion (vertical displacement, torsion or bending). In conventional PFM, domain mapping is performed by scanning the sample surface with the probe in the contact regime while monitoring the local piezoelectric strain generated by a small a.c. Based on the recent advances and challenges in the field of nanoferroics and other functional materials, this review offers an outlook for future developments and trends in PFM. Specific attention is paid to challenges in PFM application related to a variety of electromechanical coupling phenomena and the complex image formation mechanisms. After presenting a brief historical overview of the evolution of conventional PFM into a set of advanced modes, it describes the role of PFM in exploration of new emergent phenomena, including DW conductivity, magnetoelectric switching, voltage-free flexoelectric domain control, tunneling electroresistance, domain vertices, and polar vortices. This article, instead of describing the experimental issues of PFM and a variety of accumulated data, focuses on new science and discoveries enabled by PFM. While nanoscale domain imaging has been crucial for the initial advent of nanoferroelectric research, it became also clear that a more careful analysis of the PFM image formation mechanism was necessary, along with comprehensive information on the structure, physics, and chemistry of the materials under investigation, to distinguish real effects from artifacts. However, the wide application of PFM revealed a growing number of challenges and concerns related to the imaging mechanism, data interpretation, and quantification. As the field matured, new advanced PFM modes were developed (Box 2). A number of papers and books provided a comprehensive description of its technical details and gave abundant examples of PFM imaging and modification capabilities 3, 4, 5. Since the publication of the first review book 2, the experimental and physical principles of PFM operation have become common knowledge. With this, PFM has essentially driven the whole field into the realm of the nanoscale 1. ![]() PFM enables non-destructive visualization and control of FE nanodomains, as well as direct measurements of the local physical characteristics of ferroelectrics, such as nucleation bias, piezoelectric coefficients, disorder potential, energy dissipation, and domain wall (DW) dynamics (see Box 1). ![]() ![]() For ferroelectrics and other polar materials, the introduction of one of the voltage-modulated versions of AFM-piezoresponse force microscopy (PFM)-has produced a wealth of new opportunities.
